The following are our recommendations on what you will need for a long range trip. This list is divided into three groups and each group is has a list for the various length trips:
Rods & Reels
Terminal Tackle and
Miscellaneous Gear.

Please use this list as a guide. These are the items that we have found to work for us. Remember that there is more than one way to fish. You can substitute comparable items as well as bring additional items. Space is limited on a long range vessel. It is better to bring less gear if it is the correct gear than everything you have including the kitchen sink.
